BNY Mellon Active Core Bond ETF (BKFI)

This ETF aims to deliver a comprehensive return, generated through both capital appreciation and income. To achieve this objective, it typically allocates a minimum of 80% of its net assets to fixed-income instruments. These principally include government debt, corporate bonds issued by both U.S. and foreign entities, along with mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities. The fund generally invests in bonds that possess an investment-grade rating (such as Baa3/BBB- or higher) at the time of purchase, or unrated equivalents as determined by its sub-adviser, Insight North America LLC. While the portfolio's average effective duration is usually maintained between three and eight years, the fund retains the flexibility to hold individual bonds of any maturity or duration. Its liquid ETF structure allows investors to trade shares easily whenever the market is open.
