Description

FEMD primarily allocates capital to equity holdings in medium-sized American businesses. These are identified as companies whose market valuation, at the point of acquisition, does not surpass that of constituents within the Russell Mid Cap Index. The core objective of the fund is to achieve substantial long-term growth in capital. It pursues this by strategically targeting situations deemed advantageous by its adviser, which encompass enterprises undergoing revitalization, nascent growth firms experiencing inconsistent earnings, businesses possessing latent asset value, and those whose shares are priced below their intrinsic worth. While the majority of its holdings consist of U.S. equities, the fund retains the flexibility to make limited investments in international companies via instruments known as depositary receipts. Furthermore, cash and cash equivalents may be maintained as necessary for ensuring liquidity and facilitating efficient portfolio administration.
