Description

The Invesco MSCI Global Climate 500 ETF (the Fund) aims to replicate the investment performance (before accounting for fees and expenses) of the MSCI ACWI Select Climate 500 Index (the Underlying Index). This Underlying Index is comprised of roughly 500 companies drawn from the MSCI ACWI ex Select Countries Index (the Parent Index). To be included, these companies must fulfill particular environmental and climate requirements established by the Index Provider, notably showcasing their efforts to reduce carbon and greenhouse gas emissions relative to their industry counterparts. The Parent Index itself is a component of the more comprehensive MSCI ACWI Index, which is structured to evaluate the performance of worldwide equity markets broadly. The Underlying Index undergoes rebalancing twice annually, specifically in early June and December.
