Rayliant Wilshire NxtGen Emerging Markets Equity ETF (RWEM)

The Rayliant Wilshire NxtGen Emerging Markets Equity ETF (RWEM) aims to reflect the performance of a carefully chosen collection of large-capitalization stocks from developing nations. Its investment strategy relies on a factor-driven approach, expertly refined using advanced machine learning models. These models incorporate over 100 distinct signals, ranging from overall market trends and company fundamentals to technical patterns, organized into 12 primary factor groups. To ensure diversification and manage potential risks, RWEM imposes strict limits on the concentration of individual stocks and specific industry exposures, measured against the FT Wilshire Emerging Large Cap Index. The methodology for constructing its underlying index involves three key phases: initially estimating risk-adjusted returns for each stock, subsequently calculating the covariance matrix, and finally optimizing for mean tracking error. This index is rebalanced every three months, utilizing month-end data from the quarter preceding each reconstitution for its calculations. It's worth noting that before December 19, 2025, this fund was an actively managed product known as the Rayliant Quantamental Emerging Market ex-China Equity ETF (RAYE).
