Sterling Capital National Municipal Bond ETF (SCNM)

SCNM is an actively managed Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) focused on generating current income, which is exempt from standard federal income taxes, while simultaneously aiming for capital preservation. Its primary investments are municipal instruments of any maturity, provided their interest is free from regular federal income taxation. The fund can invest without restriction in municipal instruments that may be subject to the federal Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT). Up to one-fifth of its assets may be allocated to other debt and fixed-income securities. The fund limits its exposure to municipal instruments rated below investment grade to a maximum of 10% of its total assets. The portfolio manager implements a top-down investment approach, prioritizing analysis of interest rates and credit quality. Securities are chosen based on a dynamically adjusted interest rate sensitivity target, which adapts to expected shifts in interest rates. Furthermore, the fund has the option to invest in pooled vehicles, including other ETFs, and to utilize derivative instruments.
