Indexperts Yield Focused Fixed Income ETF (YFFI)

The YFFI fund allocates capital to high-quality, fixed-income instruments, irrespective of their maturity. While its primary focus is on corporate debt, the portfolio also has the flexibility to include U.S. Treasury securities, asset-backed products, and preferred shares, specifically targeting those expected to deliver compelling cash flow and income. The investment strategy involves evaluating relative yields. This includes examining the typical yield spreads among various bonds, as well as comparing the yield disparity between a single issuer's corporate debt and its preferred shares. Additionally, the fund conducts comprehensive fundamental and technical analyses, scrutinizing factors like credit quality, coupon rates, yield-to-worst metrics, and redemption dates. These factors then inform the weighting of holdings, aligning with the fund's target company and sector exposure. The selection process aims to optimize both cash generation and yield, taking into account current and foreseen market environments alongside the portfolio's existing asset mix. Portfolio assets are re-evaluated monthly, while the underlying investment models are reassessed every quarter to identify opportunities for rebalancing or modification. Nevertheless, as an actively managed exchange-traded fund, the portfolio manager retains complete autonomy to transact securities whenever deemed appropriate.
