The fund seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation for its investors. To achieve this objective, it typically allocates a minimum of 80% of its net assets (including any assets acquired through borrowing for investment purposes) to companies located across Europe. More specifically, at least 70% of its total portfolio is committed to businesses in Western European nations. Additionally, the fund maintains the flexibility to invest up to 30% of its overall holdings in firms within emerging Central and Eastern European markets. Within this Central and Eastern European segment, it may dedicate as much as 10% of its total assets to companies operating in Russia and Ukraine.
