Eaton Vance Richard Bernstein Equity Strategy Fund Cl I (ERBIX)

Under ordinary circumstances, the fund commits a minimum of 80% of its net assets (inclusive of any capital acquired through borrowing for investment purposes) to equity securities or financial instruments that offer exposure to the equity markets. Up to 20% of its portfolio may be strategically allocated to fixed-income instruments, which can include debt securities rated below investment grade or unrated equivalents (commonly referred to as 'junk' bonds), other types of fixed or floating-rate income-generating assets, and/or various currencies. Moreover, the fund faces no limitations on the proportion of its assets it may invest in foreign securities from companies domiciled in developed, emerging, or frontier market economies globally.
