This fund primarily allocates at least 80% of its net assets (including any borrowed funds used for investment) to acquiring common shares of small-capitalization companies located in the United States. The fund's managers define a 'U.S.-based' company as one that is publicly traded within the U.S. and also fulfills at least one of the following conditions: it is incorporated in the U.S., its headquarters are in the U.S., the majority of its reported assets are situated in the U.S., or it derives most of its revenue from U.S. sources.
