Green Century Equity Fund - Investor Class (GCEQX)

The Green Century Equity Fund – Investor Class aims to deliver long-term returns that closely track the performance of the MSCI KLD 400 Social ex Fossil Fuels Index. It achieves this by investing nearly all of its capital in the common equities that constitute this benchmark index. This underlying index is constructed from the approximately 400 companies found in the broader MSCI KLD 400 Social Index. However, it explicitly removes companies involved in the entire fossil fuel value chain. This includes entities engaged in the exploration, extraction, production, manufacturing, or refining of coal, oil, or natural gas. Furthermore, it excludes companies that generate or transmit electricity derived from fossil fuels, those involved in natural gas transmission, or those possessing significant carbon reserves, all originally part of the KLD400 Index.
