This fund typically allocates a minimum of 80% of its total assets, including any leveraged funds, to shares and other equity-linked instruments issued by American corporations. These may encompass, but are not limited to, standard common shares, international depositary receipts, and real estate investment trusts (REITs). Its primary objective is to deliver returns comparable to the broader market, as represented by the Russell 1000® Index, but with significantly reduced price swings throughout a complete market cycle.
