This fund typically allocates at least 80% of its total assets to the shares of exceptionally small companies. At the point of purchase, these businesses are defined as having a market capitalization of no more than $600 million or falling within the market value range of companies listed in the Russell Micro-Cap Growth Index, whichever criterion results in a larger scope. The portfolio's main strategy is to invest in common stocks of firms that its investment advisor believes are poised for substantial long-term appreciation in their market value.
