This fund's primary objective is to acquire fixed-income assets deemed undervalued, aiming to generate returns through both consistent interest payments and prospective capital appreciation. A minimum of 80% of its net assets are regularly channeled into fixed-income instruments. These investments may include a diverse array of mortgage-backed securities, specifically residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) across prime, subprime, and "Alt-A" first-lien mortgage sectors, alongside commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), encompassing both traditional and interest-only types.
