Hartford Schroders Emerging Markets Equity Fund (SEMTX)

This fund typically allocates a minimum of 80% of its total assets to equity instruments issued by companies in developing economies. The sub-advisers currently define an "emerging market" company as one that is either listed or headquartered in an emerging market, generates more than half of its revenue or profits from such regions, or holds over 50% of its assets there. The fund's equity investments may include common shares, preferred stock, and various depositary receipts. While it retains the flexibility to invest in companies of any market capitalization, the fund generally concentrates its holdings on those with mid-to-large market values.
