The fund aims for substantial capital growth over an extended period. It primarily invests at least 80% of its total assets in a diverse array of equity-based securities, which may include direct stock holdings or derivative instruments providing similar exposure, from companies located outside the United States. These companies are carefully selected by the fund's sub-advisers for their attractive valuations.
