Sit Tax-Free Income Fund (SNTIX)

The Sit Tax-Free Income Fund endeavors to achieve its objective by concentrating its investments primarily in municipal securities. These particular securities are selected because they generate interest income that is free from regular federal income tax. As a core policy, the fund commits its entire net assets (100%), and by mandate no less than 80%, to these tax-exempt municipal holdings. To provide context, municipal securities are defined as debt instruments issued either by or on behalf of U.S. states, territories, and possessions, the District of Columbia, or their respective political subdivisions, agencies, and related entities.
