Western Asset Core Plus Bond Fund Class IS (WAPSX)

The fund primarily allocates its capital across a spectrum of fixed-income instruments with varying maturities. Ordinarily, at least 80% of its net assets are dedicated to debt and other fixed-income securities. While it has flexibility regarding the maturities of its holdings, the fund typically maintains a dollar-weighted average effective duration that stays within 30% of the overall domestic bond market's average duration, as assessed by its subadvisers. Up to 20% of its total assets may be allocated to securities not denominated in U.S. dollars.
