Sequans Communications S.A., together with its affiliated companies, operates as a fabless semiconductor firm. It specializes in conceiving, developing, and supplying cellular communication solutions specifically designed for both the high-throughput (broadband) and low-power (massive) segments of the Internet of Things (IoT) market. The company's product portfolio is extensive, featuring baseband solutions critical for encoding and decoding data according to 4G and 5G protocols, which serve as the fundamental wireless processing platform for cellular devices. It also produces RF transceivers, essential components for the transmission and reception of wireless signals. Furthermore, Sequans offers highly integrated system-on-chip (SoC) solutions that consolidate multiple functionalities onto a single silicon die or package, alongside a variety of LTE modules. Beyond hardware, Sequans also furnishes software offerings, including development tools designed to facilitate manufacturers' integration of its solutions into their end products. Complementing these, the company provides expert design support services. Sequans' customer base includes Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), as well as major 4G and 5G wireless network carriers.
