ProShares S&P 500 Buyback Aristocrats ETF (BUYB)

The ProShares S&P 500 Buyback Aristocrats ETF (BUYB) targets prominent U.S. corporations that have a proven track record of consistently buying back their own stock. It tracks an index composed of S&P 500 companies that have reduced their common shares outstanding for a minimum of ten consecutive years. The fund endeavors to select at least 40 such companies using a quantitative approach that dictates the type, quantity, and combination of investment positions. If fewer than 40 companies meet the initial qualification, the consecutive year requirement for share reduction is incrementally lowered to a minimum of five years until the target is reached. Primarily, the fund employs a full replication strategy, allocating substantially all its assets to index components in proportion to their weightings. When full replication isn't feasible, a representative sampling method may be utilized to approximate the index's investment profile. The underlying index is rebalanced annually in April, with all constituent weightings reset to equal proportions each quarter in January, April, July, and October.
