The fund's management employs a two-part investment methodology, normally dedicating approximately half of its total capital to each distinct approach. To meet the necessary collateral and coverage requirements for these derivative holdings, and to deploy any uninvested cash, the portfolio maintains a portion of its assets in high-grade, short-duration fixed-income securities.
