This fund primarily seeks to gain exposure to a diverse selection of equities issued by companies operating within developing economies. These emerging market nations are identified as such by authoritative bodies like the World Bank, the United Nations, or their respective national governments. Geographically, such countries are commonly found across the Asia-Pacific, Eastern European, Middle Eastern, Central and South American, and African continents. Under typical market conditions, the fund is committed to allocating a minimum of 80% of its net assets, supplemented by any leverage used for investment purposes, to securities from issuers in these growth-oriented markets, a directive known as its 80% policy.
