Loomis Sayles Small Cap Growth Fund (LSSIX)

This fund typically commits a minimum of 80% of its capital, including any leveraged funds, to a diverse range of equity instruments issued by small-capitalization companies. These investments may include preferred shares, warrants, securities that can be converted into common or preferred stock, and other forms of equity participation in an enterprise. As defined by the manager, a small-cap company is presently one whose market capitalization either falls within the spectrum of the Russell 2000® Index – which tracks the 2,000 smallest U.S. firms – or is valued at $3 billion or less at the point of initial investment.
